A
CEO's Guide to Doing More With Less |
 |
|
A most
recent Vistage Confidence Index showed that 86 percent of
CEOs say they’re having “to do more with less.” The impact
of the Great Recession and the challenges it has brought
to businesses is far reaching. Most small and mid-sized
companies are operating under resource constraints that
include: significant staff reductions, scarce availability
of credit, reductions in budgets, reduced customer spending,
... the list goes on and on. Download

In 2003, the United Nations (UN) General Assembly designated December
9 as International Anti-Corruption Day to raise people’s awareness
of combating corruption and of the role of the UN Convention against
Corruption.
For an early commemoration of the UN International Anti-Corruption
Day, on 6 December 2010, Transparency International Malaysia held
a half-day Seminar and a Dinner Talk by YB Dato’ Sri Idris Jala,
CEO of PEMANDU and Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department.
The Seminar, sponsored by Ernst & Young, started with a session
on “The Fight against Corruption – Regional Experience”. The Commissioner
of KPK Indonesia and the Senior Advisor of Transparency International
Sri Lanka shared their regional experience. After the first session,
the Secretary General of Malaysian Chinese Chamber of Commerce and
the National Exco Member of the Malay Chamber of Commerce, Malaysia,

The Malaysian public has for long complained yet tolerate corruption
and is long overdue to support a respectable NGO (TI-M) in Malaysia
to speak out and fight against corruption. Re-known investment guru
of Malaysia Tan Beng Boo said that if Malaysia continued on what
we are today, we will be even behind Philippines in the next 5 or
more years! |
